    • Method development
    • Nicotinic acetylcholine receptors
    • Cryo-EM structure modeling

My research is focused on modeling membrane protein structures using low and moderate resolution cryo-EM data and method development for the modeling of membrane proteins. My current modeling efforts are focused on caveolin-1 protein in collaboration with the Kenworthy Lab (University of Virginia) and Ohi Lab (University of Michigan). My method development efforts involve implementation of Rosetta protocols to screen for the membrane coordinates of amphipathic helices and application of this protocol to membrane proteins bearing amphipathic helices to identify their membrane coordinates.
