Summary0000215: top-level .gitignore after we move to git
DescriptionThis is a child of bug 0000207 - rosetta_tools had no .gitignore. After we move to git and the directory/repository structure stabilizes, we need a toplevel .gitignore for globally-ignored files, including text editor temp files and python binaries; at minimum:

._*
*~
\#*\#
